Abraham Lincoln's part in the great cemetery dedication of 1863 is a story well told. Missing in the tale is how music constributed to the success of the cememony. Presenter Ed Pierce will show how this president and the Marine Band came together at the long remembered event.

The sixteenth annual Talkng Spirits Tour features a 90 minute walking tour with local actors portraying important Civil War era figures buried at Forest Hill cemetery, 1 Speedway Rd., in Madison. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children. Tours run from noon to 4 p.m.
