Fifth Annual Salute to Freedom

The Civil War Museum's 5th Annual Salute to Freedom will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10. On both days, living history groups will be set up outside the museum representing Civil War infantry, cavalry, and artillery soldiers. Interpreters will also discuss Civil War medicine, civilian life and trades. Camps will be set up on Saturday from 9:00 to 4:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00. Events are free and open to the public and sponsored by the Milwaukee Civil War Round Table and Iron Brigade Association, The Civil War Round Table of Chicago, and the Northern Illinois Civil War Round Table.
